A Lovely Pause: Mental Well-Being Workbook & Values Planner

One of my main purposes for starting A Lovely Pause was to be able to offer a way to help women overcome anxiety and trauma that was easy to implement. My quest to find a workable routine began years ago and continues today. To think that we can ever have a routine for living life that works perfectly is to fool ourselves into believing we have total control over the life we lead. Trust me, I tend to think I have more control than I truly do all the time. This routine is something I continually fail at, and you will too. Yet, I return to this starting place time and time again because I truly believe it is the foundation of healing. For, how can you grow if you aren’t sure where to start? How can you not be anxious if you have no way of determining priority? How can you set boundaries if you aren’t aware of where your thoughts and feelings start and another’s begin?

In my mental well-being workbook, you will find a step by step guide to not only help you better understand your anxiety but also give you a way to discover, try, and commit to coping skills that work for you. The most helpful part of the workbook, though, is the Values into Action section. Here, you will process and learn what’s most valuable to you and how to implement that into your everyday life. It’s hard. Like, I said, at some point, life will get away from you. You’ll lose sight of the values you set for yourself. It happens. What matters is that you come back and start again. We return to this place each time like a waypoint created as we get a little further into the game of life. So we may start over with this same practice, but it’s with a deeper understanding of the world within us and around us. We start here to remind us of who we are and what’s important to us. Beginning, again and again, to travel more purposefully, traipsing across more ground each time, allowing endurance to have it’s way.

It’s growth. I’m just giving you a starting point.

I’d love to hear how the workbook is working for you! Please comment below!
